Adam is Head of the IFC Middle East and North Africa Fund and Chief Investment Officer in the IFC Emerging Asia Fund. He serves as a member of the Investment Committee of the IFC Middle East and North Africa Fund. He serves as a member of the board of directors of multiple portfolio companies.
Adam has three decades of investing, operating and leadership experience spanning countries in the MENA region, Asia and Europe. Adam has dedicated more than twenty years to IFC, where he was Country Manager for Indonesia, Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives, and oversaw IFC’s advisory programs for the Mekong region. He started his career at J.P. Morgan in London, concentrating on M&A and structured finance, and later co-founded a successful European private equity fund.
He holds an MSc in Development Studies and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University.
